KATHERINE GEESEMAN | CELLO

Katherine Geeseman, made her solo debut with the Valparaiso University Symphony Orchestra in 2001. Since then, Ms. Geeseman has performed extensively as a solo and chamber musician. As a member of the Eppes String Quartet, she performed throughout the United States and as a part of the Promising Artists of the 21st Century series in Costa Rica. Ms. Geeseman has also participated as an avid chamber and orchestral musician at the Texas Music Festival, the International Festival and Institute at Round Top, Meadowmount School of Music and the Miami Quartet’s Advanced String Quartet Seminar. Additionally she has performed with numerous orchestras including the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony, the Elgin Symphony and the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. She has performed in master classes with Zuill Bailey, Thomas Landschoot, the Miami String Quartet, and Wesley Baldwin. Ms. Geeseman has studied under Daniel Morganstern and is now completing her Doctoral degree at Florida State University where she studies with Gregory Sauer.
WONKAK KIM | CLARINET

Korean-born clarinetist WONKAK KIM has captivated audiences around the globe with his “excellent breath control” (The Washington Post) and “beautifully balanced and blended tone” (Fanfare). Since his solo debut with Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, playing Carl Nielsen’s Clarinet Concerto, Kim has enjoyed a performance career spanning hundreds of venues on four continents, including Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, Le Louvre in Paris, Izumi Hall in Osaka, Japan, the Seoul Arts Center as well as in London, Geneva, Philadelphia, Boston, Minneapolis, Ghent, Costa Rica, and Brazil. A laureate of the Presser Music Award, Kim received over a dozen international prizes and is frequently featured with orchestras/ensembles worldwide. His award-winning recordings can be heard on Naxos, Emeritus, Capstone labels as well as the National Public Radio (USA), Radio France, Swedish Radio, and Korean Broadcasting System. Professor Kim joined the music faculty at Tennessee Technological University in 2011, where he performs as the principal clarinetist of the Bryan Symphony Orchestra and the Cumberland Quintet.
EUN-HEE PARK | PIANO

Korean pianist, Eun-Hee Park, is frequently in demand as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative pianist. Praised by The New York Concert Review for “a solid foundation of fluent pianism,” Ms. Park has given concerts and presented masterclasses throughout the US, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Costa Rica, and Brazil, and has worked with renowned musicians such as Margo Garrett, Graham Johnson, Warren Jones, Sara Sant'Ambrogio, Ian Clarke, Paul Merkelo, and Jeremy Wilson. Recently joining the faculty at the University of Southern Mississippi, she also teaches at the annual Chapel Hill International Chamber Music Workshop (NC) and Southern Miss Piano Institute. Park has been awarded prizes and numerous scholarships, including the Special Prize for Performance of Contemporary Music at the Competition Internationale in Santa Fe, winner of Oklahoma’s Young Artists Competition, Concerto Competition winner at Colorado Mesa University, and the James and Lola Faust Chamber Music Scholarship from Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation. In addition, she has been elected a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda, Phi Kappa Phi, Mu Phi Epsilon, and Music Teachers National Association. Ms. Park holds her degrees from the Florida State University (D.M.), Oklahoma City University (M.M), and Colorado Mesa University (B.A). Her teachers include Carolyn Bridger, Amy I-Lin Cheng, Ernestine Scott, and Michael Baron. Recordings of her chamber music performance are available on the Naxos, Emeritus, and Capstone labels.
M. BRENT WILLIAMS | VIOLIN

M. Brent Williams is currently the Concertmaster of the Albany Symphony Orchestra (GA), Assistant Concertmaster of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra (FL) and Principal Second Violin of the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra (GA). He has performed as a soloist and/or chamber musician in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Costa Rica, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and across the United States. Williams has been a lecturer of Violin and World Music at Valdosta State University since 2008 where he performs with the Azalea String Quartet and is the director/founder of VSU’s Pan-American Ensemble. He has also been on the faculties of the Chapel Hill International Chamber Music Workshop (NC), Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp (MI) and Florida State University Summer Music Camp in addition to being the former Director of the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra Symphonic Strings and Co-Director of TYO’s Fiddlers (FL). Williams’ live performances have appeared on many NPR stations including WBLV (MI) and KRTS (TX) and he has recorded for the Naxos, Koch, Capstone and Emeritus labels. He earned his BMA from the University of Oklahoma and his MM as well as DM from the Florida State University.
